It has been a joy and a privilege to be able to join in harmony with my friend and colleague Carrie Wicks.  The magic of melding voices, listening for nuance, and settling into the unique contours of our voices as we re-imagine songs we love. Our approach is always improvisational and impressionistic, leaning heavily on the yin and yang of our styles, timbres, and interpretations.  With the support and gentle backing of pianist Nick Allison, "The Lark" is a unique and special group. With rich harmonies, swinging rhythms and deep grooves, the Lark explores eclectic songs from across the spectrum of jazz and americana.
